Family Portraits over Spring Break

The last weekend of Spring Break we went to Rockport to hang out with Lanny, Holly & the kids. We had a great time as we always do with them and at the beach!! We took family portraits while we were there. Holly and I had a great idea of taking them on the beach. We got everyone dressed and we went to the beach, it was still a little chilly and a little windy but we thought we would try. Colton fell asleep in the car on the way over and we get out and it was Freezing and Blowing 90 mph! Cody and Lanny thought we were nuts but went along with what we had invisioned. We walked down to the beach and it was way too windy and the tide was out and it just didn't look nice at all. We tried and it just didn't work like we had wanted it too. We went back to the house and took the pictures in front of the big beautiful oak tree they have in the front yard. They came out looking really nice. This summer we will try the family picture on the beach again.
