Here we are another year older, our baby boy is 2!! We had a Wonderful birthday celebration with family and good friends. We had a Handy Manny party and it turned out so cute. Little man is all about Handy Manny. We borrowed a lot of Handy Manny toys from Riley to decorate. Reese had come up over the summer and we made all the tools out of clay and used that as decorations as well.
Invitation with our address and email blurred out.
Grand Dude and Colton opening a present from Grand Dude and Nana.
A tool book! It has puzzle pieces talking about each tool. Very cool book!!
Continuing the tradition of making his birthday cakes. I made this dump truck cake for him to go with the Handy Manny theme.
Manny, his trucks and some tools. That is his birthday hat he made at school that he wore.
Party favors for all the kiddos. We bought tool boxes at Hobby Lobby, spray painted them red like Manny's tool box and then put everyone's name on the front and filled it with candy.
Had to have the candy for Mr. Lopart's candy shop that is next to Manny's shop.
Birthday Boy next to his Birthday sign they had outside his classroom. We put it on our front door. Of course he is sucking his finger, probably a little tired already. Lots of activity the past couple of days. He really only sucks his finger when he is upset, hurt or sleepy.
Birthday banner for Daddy and Colton that I made. I can use it every year! I laminated each letter and hung them on twine using tiny clothespines. Loved how it turned out!! Great colors and I can use it year after year!
Birthday party in the middle of August means Texas heat!! The AC can't cool the house fast enough and keep it cool. Since the deer lease was sold this past year the window AC unit wasn't being used. Grand Dude picked it up from Uncle Jon in San Antonio and brought it up. We put it in our living room window and all I can say is, GENUIS!!! The house was so cool with all of the people in and out of the house!!
Appetizers and some more decorations. I made that Manny out of clay this summer. :)

Steering.
Uncle Jay is steering now and Colton is acting like a crazy boy!! Dancing, jumping and laughing like crazy!! At this point he was getting a bit delirious, late in the afternoon and no nap yet. He was doing great it was just so funny to watch him act so silly!!
Concentrating so hard on steering the car.
More lessons from Uncle Jay.
And the silliness is back!!
The car was taking a rest and we put together his BBQ pit!! Bailey and Campbell gave this to him. Campbell has the same one and Colton Loves playing with it! Of course Colton was right there helping his Daddy put it together!
