4th Anniversary!

4 years being married to my very best friend, my soul mate and the most wonderful man I know! I am so blessed and love the marriage that we have. We celebrated and went out to dinner to Smith & Wollensky. Last year I received a Christmas present from one of my students. His dad is the head chef at Smith & Wollensky. It was a very generous gift card and we saved it for this occasion.

My best friend Jenn had Colton over to spend the night. He was so excited to be with Bailey & Campbell. They had a great time and he did very well. He played on Campbell's play BBQ pit a lot of the time. Thank you Jenn for taking care of our sweet little guy. Cody and I enjoyed a wonderful evening together!

Notice our wedding picture behind us and Colton's 1 year picture at the bottom. :)

Love my man!

4 years ago I said, "I Do" to the man of my dreams!

The roses Cody got me for our anniversary. We had pink & yellow flowers at our wedding and the white flower was in the center of my bouquet symbolizing my Mom. Love that man for being so thoughtful!

My hubby at dinner. We had a wonderful corner table overlooking a beautiful sunset and of course my hunky man!

While the Boys are Away the Girls (& Kids) Will Play!!

Father's Day Weekend!!

Every Father's Day Weekend the boys put together their own fishing tournament down in Port Mansfield. The boys have a great time fishing and just being with the boys. Well, this year all of us girls decided why don't we all go down to Rockport and be together. Just the Mama's and all the kiddos!! It was Awesome!! Most of the boys drove down to Rockport first to meet up and then piled in a truck and headed South. Colton and I drove with Cody and then we stayed with Holly, Reese, Riley, Carla, Reid & Seth. We all piled in the house and had such a wonderful time!!

We all got together every day and every night. I made King Ranch before we came down and brought it one night for all of us to eat. The kids play so well together and the Mama's Love being together!!

One of the days we had the kids paint a canvas for their Daddy's for Father's Day. They also glued shells on a frame with foam letters that said #1 Dad! The kids had a great time painting and making their presents. It was a hit and the Dad's loved the presents!

milllKKKKK and Lots of it!!

Colton Loves milk, and when I say that he Loves milk, we mean it!!! We have to make sure that there is a sippy cup of milk ready for him when he wakes up and we need to make sure we have milk with us when we are out of town! He used to just say, "milll." Well, that isn't the correct way to say milk so Cody taught him to say the 'k.' Colton has now figured out how to say it using the 'k' but he makes sure we know he is saying 'k.' It comes out, "milkkkk." It's pretty funny hearing him say it and the fact that he is learning how to say the word. Now, we are working on him saying, "milk, please." He is learning to put two words together now. We do like to call him our milkaholic!

My Paintings!

I knew I loved doing artsy type things, but I have found a new Love! There is a place called 'Pinot's Palette' where you go and they take you step by step to paint a picture. They have a calendar of all different paintings and you sign up for the one you want to do. The two times that I have been I went with Shannon & Aimee. We had a great time and it has become a bit of an addiction. The only problem is where am I going to hang these paintings. If I paint them I don't want them to just sit in a closet. So, when I look at the schedule I look for things that I would like in my home.

The first one we did was some wine bottles, perfect painting for our breakfast nook. The teachers did a great job telling you what to do step by step.

It's Finished!!!

The second time we went was a painting called 'Candy Skies.' This one wasn't as difficult as our first and I Love how it turned out. On the way home I got to thinking, everyone called my Mom, Candy. 'Candy Skies' great way to think of it that Mom is in the skies looking down on me and my family! Then I showed Cody and he thought of the same thing and then noticed that one of the groups of flowers makes a heart! Very symbolic!! Love, Love, Love it!!!

Still don't have a permanent home for either of the paintings. Right now they both hang in our breakfast nook. Most nights Colton points to them and says, "Mama's!"

After the game, we had dinner and the kids had a great time swiming in the backyard! Big pool for the big kids and then a small pool for the little ones.
