Friend's Baby Shower July 18, 2009

My Dad, Christine and Grandma gave us a baby shower. Family, friends, and many of Dad's co-workers came to celebrate! It was a great BBQ, luckily there was some rain in the area which gave us a nice cloud cover so it wasn't scorching hot. This is my Dad's first grandchild, he is overjoyed with excitement! We haven't come up with a name for him yet, I guess we will wait for Colton to name him. Dad does like the name Grandude! The name does fit him perfectly!

Coordinating 5 people with people everywhere was a little difficult.

35 weeks, I'm going to miss having him inside me. But... I am so excited to have him in my arms!Proud Dad! Soon to be Grandpa!! Excited G-Pa! He's my gambling buddy!! Linda, Poppy, Cody He is too funny!! Never a dull moment with him around! I love you!We are overjoyed with so much excitement for Colton's arrival!

Hadley helping out and making herself pretty with the bows. Reese with her Uncle Cody and Aunt Ray Ray. She stayed with us for a week this summer and was a big help. We had fun making art projects for Colton's room and some art projects for her!

Christine made us this amazing quilt!! It is a pattern for the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. She did such a beautiful job! We are so excited for our little Marine to use it!I see a handsome little cowboy in our future! We are ready for the Rodeo!!

Dad surprised Cody with this wonderful gas mask! So now... he has NO excuses when it comes to changing his boy's diapers!! :) I have no doubt in my mind that he will be right there changing diapers! He is going to be an amazing father!!Grandma's birthday was in the next couple of days so we surprised her with a birthday cake with everyone there. She was Very surprised!!

Happy "young"day Grandma! 87 years old!! You look GREAT Grandma!!!
