4th of July Rockport, Texas

Every 4th of July we go to Rockport and spend the 4th with Lanny, Holly and the kids and any other family and friends that make it down there. Hopefully with Colton's arrival we can still make that tradition happen! :)

This year was a hot year and being 8 months pregnant I was feeling the heat! The boys went fishing on Friday while Holly and I and some friends took all the kiddos to the beach in Port A. We had a great time hanging out at the beach, I quickly realized that I needed to stay sitting in the water because I was so hot!! The kids had a blast and we got sun!!

That evening we went over to a friend's house for a tasty crawfish and crab leg boil. It was a wonderful evening spent with friends.

Saturday was the 4th, we took it easy that day and then piled everyone into Lanny's boat to meet up with friends in the water to watch the fireworks. We used to get dressed up for the fireworks but realized it is too hot so we all come in our swimsuits so we can hang out in the water.
